Chas teaches with a methodical but straightforward approach where nothing is too overcomplicated. Learning AFF with him felt so easy and laid back. His calmness definitely makes you feel at ease and able to ask as many questions as you need to. He is also such a laugh, which definitely helps when you're feeling nervous! Despite being laid back, he is still strict in the right ways; he'll make sure you are definitely ready before giving you a pass on each level. I failed level 4 a couple of times, but Chas took as much time as necessary to train me on the ground so that I felt ready and confident again to go for it. Such a great instructor, you can really tell that his wealth of knowledge has been built over many years. I had an amazing experience working with Chas (ready2skydive) in Spain in December 2024.

I left the UK with the goal of getting through my AFF training, and to achieve my A license over the course of a 2 week trip.

Chas's friendly nature and expert guidance helped put me at ease and gave me the reassurance I needed as he worked to develop my skills and confidence to face those first few solo jumps in total support.

Working with ready2skydive in this flexible approach meant I was able to pace my days jumping and resting and whether there was an active day or a rest day he was always willing to share knowledge to help me develop my skills at a rate that suited me.

I've since worked with Chas again for private coaching in the UK and would highly recommend him to anyone considering starting their skydiving journey as he can take you from zero to hero in no time as well work with you long term across the whole range of qualifications and disciplines.

Chas provided a truly fantastic AFF experience.

Starting from little to no knowledge or experience of skydiving he taught everything I needed to know to progress through the AFF levels in a calm, professional, well structured and easy to understand manner.

His professionalism and experience shone through in his teaching ability, as lessons were easy to follow on the ground making them easy to reproduce in the air.

Most of all he made the process fun while maintaining a high level of safety, promoting self confidence throughout the course.

If you’re looking at doing an AFF, do it with Chas. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

IIn March 2025, I completed my AFF course at SkyDive Spain with Chas McNeil from Ready to Skydive. I was nervous at first, but Chas immediately put me at ease with the perfect mix of humour and clear instruction.
